I think the DeKalb School Board is showing it's true colors already. They tell us that this referendum will cover us for the next ten years. They know more development is coming. Yet, to the very first development to try to get approval, they say 'we won't have room for you'. WILL this referendum fix our problem or not?? OR is the fact that this development is for affordable housing REALLY the issue??? They always seem to have room for the $200,000-$400,000/home developments. Most of the school board members can afford those types of homes. Is the school board really saying they only want families like them? Perhaps the elitist school board would prefer the rest of us just had to move away. I now question who's interests do they have in mind. Ours? Or just their own. I say, once again, it didn't take them long to show their true colors.
