Post HTML is off for this forum IkonCode is on for this forum Emoticons are enabled	When the DeKalb School District absorbed the Malta School District there was talk of a windfall of State monies for the merger. The windfall evidently never materialized. Now the word is that the schools are bursting at the seams. Building new schools or adding on to existing ones are in serious discussions. Some of the ideas expressed are carrying a pretty hefty price tag - $50 million plus. Where will the money come from? A referendum? Critics say the School District needs to consolidate some office space and convert them back into classrooms. Many are nervous about shuffling students around from one school to another. I would love to hear your input on this...
